DIRECTOR - PASTOR DONNA DUNBAR

NEWSLETTER EDITORCurrently vacant position.

WRITER - RAMON CORTEZ - Ramon is an excellent writer who is using his prison time to study God's word and has quite the gift for preaching and reaching.

ILLUSTRATORCurrently vacant position.  To be filled by an inmate.

ADMIN. ASSISTANT - CASSIE GRAY - Cassie is 26 years old and lives in Blue Springs, MO.  She is a single mom of one girl, and also a student at University of Phoenix studying Health Administration. When not doing school work, Cassie enjoys trying to help as many people as possible with anything they need, even if its just a little encouragement. She also likes to read, scrapbook, listen to music, and write. Cassie loves the Lord very much, and feel like she has a calling in helping the less fortunate and those who could use some encouragement. "Everyone falls down on their "luck",  per say, once and awhile and I believe that they deserve help to get back up on their own two feet. I believe that God is calling me to be that person that helps them to get back on their two feet, learn from their experiences, and go on with their lives. Everyone deserves a second chance-that is why Jesus came and died, so that we could have that second chance, and I want to spread the word!!!"  Cassie keeps track of all inmate movements and transfers.

MAIL ROOM - LEE GRAVEL and JOHN VADEBONCEOUR -John and Lee are very kind, loving guys who are more than willing to lend a helping hand wherever they are needed.  They pick up all the mail for the ministry each and every week.

BIRTHDAY MODERATOR - KIMBERLEE GANN
In spite of the fact that Kimberlee has more than her plate full with such a large family, and many chores to go along with that, she lovingly took on the responsibility of sending out all of the appropriate cards (birthdays, Christmas, etc. ) for each inmate in the ministry.  This is to make sure that no one gets left out or left out or left behind.  She is doing a wonderful job.

INTERIM PEN-PALS MAUREEN AND DAVID VERNEY Maureen was born and brought up in London.  She attended boarding school from 15 - 18.  In the 3 1/2 year period, I lost my grandfather (who lived with us), my father and my mother.  She came to know the Lord Jesus in the summer she left school at a summer camp.  She studied physiotherapy and qualified later than expected because she had a very severe depressive illness and was in hospital for 9 months.  Maureen worked in a Christian hospital and then spent 2 years in Cambridge at a small college doing a London University diploma in Theology.  She went on to missionary work in Nepal, but this was cut short by a return of the depressive illness.  She returned home and went to work in Coventry in Orthopedics.  In 1973 she married John who had prayerfully supported her for 4 years.  They have three children:  Alistair, David and Ruth.  They are all committed Christians.  They moved to Kenilworth in 1986 and from there to Hook in 2002.  The depressive illness is now much more under control.  She was also born with congenital cataracts and lost what little sight she had in an accident when she was 8.  Her loss of sight, however, has never been a problem to her and the Lord has always enabled her to do all that was needful.  Maureen  has always been involved in Church life and feels the loss there in an area where there is great spiritual deadness.  She is 63 and feels that she still want to give back to the Lord something for all He has done for her in salvation and in all her circumstances.  She feels whatever she can offer can only pale by comparison to what Jesus has done.

David is Maureen's son and he has a willing heart to reach out and encourage anyone and everyone in the Lord's name.  David has been dealing with schizophrenia most of his life, but he is trying the very best he can to forge a new life for himself while living in God's plan, and making himself available for service to God and his people..

VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR - ELIZABETH GREGORY Elizabeth loves to serve the Lord and we have been blessed to have her.  She will be serving as a liaison between PTW and church communities to see if they might want to become volunteer pen-pals and join us in our ministry of encouragement.  She will then direct them to our "Contact Us" page on this website where they can fill in their Pen-pal Info Forms and get set up with a pen-pal.  Please keep her in prayer as she steps out in love and service to the least, lost and lonely.
